Metropol Hostel Berlin

The value for money at Metropol Hostel was great and the room was clean and spacious. The location of the hostel was perfect, with easy access to the subway, stores, and restaurants on the same street.

The morning meal could be improved with more variety or options.

Its very close to the subway station. Its really handy.

Some peple dont follow the rule. I think they drunk in the room. They were so noisy.

Responsive staff, views of the city, well run Wifi, near the subway.

Bad noise insulation, no shower, hair on the bed linen.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel in terms of the breakfast, staff, and location. The breakfast spread was great, with a variety of options such as different types of Muesli, salamis, cheese, teas. The staff was very friendly and helpful, accommodating an earlier breakfast time for me due to my early train departure. The location was perfect, with the subway right at the door, making it super convenient to explore the city. There were also plenty of good restaurants within walking distance.

For us, it was ideal.

nice and friendly staff and okay location but that's about it. Very expensive for the mediocor standard. Noisy!!! Would problably be alright for young people travelling around.

I stayed there becuz I had X Japan's concert in Columbian halle, which is 10--15 min walk from the hostel and metro is right in front of the hotel. So the location was great for me. Also for some tourist spots such as Potsdamer plats, Brandenbrug gate are within 1.5~2 km. (Could walk in good weather)

I stayed 2 nights with friend (double room) but we got only 2 towels(not that big enough) for the entire stay. I asked the staff and she said that extra towel is for 1 euro each. So each person is given only 1 towel for entire stay, not for each night. Many young people smoke and drink in front of the gate. The entrance and elevator are very old and not friendly. We were already disappointed and even scared from the entrance. (Kinda scary for girls if it's in the night becuz there are many drunk people around)

Great location, spacious and clean rooms, helpful staff, good wifi and amenities.

Was a great stay! Staff is very nice, the room was huge, lockers to keep your stuff save, very nice breakfast and in such a great urban area!

Having the room close to the kitchen and being waking up at 8 am....

Convenient location next to U-Bahn station. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast. Easy access to restaurants. Rich offer breakfast. Lovely and helpful staff.

The staff and where it is, great spot!

We did not have a hot shower half of the time of our stay - this was not a big problem because it was quite hot in the room :-)

I recently stayed at the Metropol Hostel for four nights during my visit to Berlin. The location is incredibly convenient, with a metro stop just a short walk away. There are also plenty of restaurants in the area, and a grocery store nearby. The young Turkish staff at the hostel were absolutely wonderful and made me feel so welcome. The free breakfast offered a great variety of options, including muesli, salamis, cheese, teas. The staff even accommodated our request for an earlier breakfast time due to an early train, which was fantastic.

I would recommend this hostel.

Clean, practical room with good WiFi and friendly staff. Convenient location for transportation and within walking distance to attractions. Close to popular food stalls. Modest but decent breakfast. Subway, stores, and restaurants nearby. Comfortable beds.

The price was good for a clean double room. The location is really good, in a really alive quarter and with the posibility of going walking to the center.

The decoration of the corridor look more like a garage than a hotel. the staff can be more friendly
